I still might go back and get the 25 if you guys think it is that good of a deal. I picked up an imaculent 870 MAG Wingmaster with RemChoke's instead. I could barley see the winchester marking next to ' Model 25' so i guess it was reblued and spruced up. The model was manufactured between 19, the exact year unknown. Further inspection and it was a polychoke rib and the whole gun was refinished. The Model 25 was the same as a Model 12 without the take-down capability. A nice-looking gun, ready for the range or field. The wood is very good with some light marks and wear. The receiver has about 85 blue mixed with patina.
The barrel and magazine tube are excellent with about 97 blue finish. There is a minor scratch on the top of the receiver and a minor blemish on the stock.
